go through the new releases section. take out nearly every book about farming, but wonder why people are still writing new books about farming. wonder if you and valerie burchby are their target audience.
search for the same ten books that have been on your list for the last year, but the westerly library ALWAYS HAS TAKEN OUT. literally every time. get really angry about this, then get over it...

hurricane tomorrow
and my neighborhood has a “mandatory evacuation.”
however, my plan involves staying put, scattergories, tea, heading down to the breachway to check out the waves if it isn’t pouring, and spending hella time with wes and carolyn before they go back to school.
i am going to try veganism for a week
because I went to the fair and saw all the animals and I have become such an emotional human. Other times that I have attempted veganism have ended in different levels of success— the longest period being a few months. WHO KNOWS, I might fail miserably at even a week of this.
